On June 10th, the Franconia fifth graders had a celebration ceremony in honor of their completion of elementary school. Parents decorated the school cafeteria and provided delicious treats! Children were honored for their school activities (chorus, band, and orchestra) as well as special honors like "most books read." Each student was individually recognized and given a certificate. Students sang three songs and were then treated to a 25 minute video of pictures and highlights of the year created by one of our parents. Each child received a copy of the DVD as a keepsake from fifth grade. Thanks to Ms. Canning, Mrs. Lelii, Ms. Hiester, Mr. Pallozzi and Ms. Veneziale for making fifth grade a special year for our students. We wish our fifth graders all the best as they head to Indian Crest next year. We will miss you!!
