Date: Monday, April 30th
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Franconia Elementary

The Souderton Area School District is proud to announce that Franconia Elementary School has received a grant through the Montgomery County Health Department to create a Community Garden. Penn State University is providing us with nine sessions of lessons and several local landscapers are donating soil and lumber.  Souderton Area High School technology education teacher, Mr. Ken Meyers along with his students are building a vegetable stand.

On Monday, April 30th, at 9:00 A.M.  parents, students, administration and representatives from The Montgomery Couny Health Department will break ground. Our third graders will share poems and we will plant a few veggies.  We are excited to embark on this green project.
