The Franconia Home & School Association is parents who want to enrich our children's experience at Franconia Elementary School. We provide funding and parent volunteers for programs and activities that support the students, teachers, administration and families at our school.

Programs and Activities

Financially subsidize the cost of field trips and assemblies
Organize Family Night events, such as the Back to School Picnic, Holiday Family Night, Lip Sync Night, and Bingo Night
Publish the School Directory and weekly online Franconia Falcon Flyer newsletter, showcasing school and family events.
Create a yearbook that includes every student at Franconia

Fundraising

Our "No Cost" fundraisers include signing up for the Giant A+ rewards program, Box Tops for Education and Amazon Smile.
"Opting-Out"; If you prefer not to participate in any of the fundraisers but would still like to make a financial contribution to Home & School you now have the option to make a direct donation. 100% of this donation goes back to school and can be done with cash or check.

Volunteering

Parent volunteers help in Home and School committees, events and in classrooms. To volunteer, complete a "Hands Across the District" volunteer sign up sheet.
All parent volunteers must have a TB test (free test at school in October – date to be announced the school nurse), AND volunteer clearances as required by the District's policy. See the District's Volunteering page for more information.

All parents and staff of Franconia Elementary School are members of Home and School and are encouraged to support the children and school by getting involved in the many activities sponsored by the Home and School. We meet monthly to discuss the organization of activities and programs.
